A walk in the woods,

A swim in the ocean,

A ride in the caravan.

You and I,

Just a million heartbeats away.

Till you hold my hand.

And I catch my breath.

Till your stares linger

And I know you are not just stealing glances.

May I have this walk?

Into your heart

Can I see through

Your scars and little joys?

Am I allowed an experience of your world?

Your sunshine and rain,

Your fights and struggles,

Your silent pains

And unspoken battles.

I hope not to break into a million cutting pieces.

Can I have this walk?

I’m not an angel

And I won’t promise you perfection.

But I hope to stay

A little longer to make your heart

A room for two.
