You know when an idea hits you out of the blue? Yes!!! This was one of my blue moments. I was so giddy when the words flowed.😊😊
Dear El,
The whisper in my ears; the caresses, that tingling feeling when your hairy hand brushed off my skin. Nights under the moonlight, your arms wrapped over me like a cocoon. If fingers could play and lips could do more than utter…… But I close my eyes deeply till I feel pain.
Not tonight, brain on an oxytocin roller coaster. Morphine, norepinephrine, serotonin, so high in my head. I’m so stuck on my own inbuilt opium. And I know I’m no different from a drug addict.
You turn me around with that alluring whisper, “I know you are awake, feisty.” I turn around and look deep into your eyes.
You look at me with a wanting so scary , a promise of bliss and more bliss to come but your words leave me in utter shock. “Let’s get you home.”
Honestly, that was the last place on my mind but when you aired it, I was glad one of us was thinking straight. You are a man, my very own; a rational being, a composite, both of a reasoning angel and an instinctual alley cat.
All at once, I realise what C.S. Lewis said is true;
And then I knew, Eros, in all his splendour….may urge to evil as well as good.
Hope you liked it too. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts on this.
Happy Founders Day to all my Ghanaian loves.
