Light!
Like a laser to her aura,
Food to her reincarnated spirit.
But now she feels a sense of satisfaction.
She’s had enough of her soul’s food.
She’s wondering if there’s something new,
Soon she finds herself on the look for the dark spots.
The blurry little dots.
And now she’s not just searching for the odd dots in her light.
She’s munching on the little spaces of darkness,
She deems harmless like flies.
Slowly, slowly
She’s consumed.
She wonders why the light hurt so much.
She’s angry how exposing the lights are.
She doesn’t see the truth;
For the light is not the problem.
Her little desserts of darkness
Has made her blind!
But she hopes,
A strong belief
That someday the light will find her again.
In her tunnel as she moves
With her a reason to dream,
She hopes,
Maybe there’d be a light at the end of her tunnel too!
