And Shane, don’t stop believing.
Hold onto hope,
Even when all other things fail.
Lately, he’s been lost.
Sleep eludes him,
His smiles are breaking,. His pillow has a narrative of tears.
But on the twelfth night,
He’s made a choice
Yes, he’s made a couple of mistakes.
His choices have not been the best.
But he’s done settling down.
He’s done with the tears
And just like his dad said,
He’s holding on to hope.
Gradually he would face his demons.
And every night,
When he lies awake
It would be a million dreams at bay.
A vision of what his world could be;
No matter how crazy it would seem.
And his hope starts in the seconds now.
Before his minutes travels to his tomorrow.
He’s bruised,
He’s brave.
And he’s done
Disowning and apologising
For his scars.
Here comes his sun,
His lighting.
And hope never has been better
At bright shining!
And this time,
It. Would. Just. Be. Enough!
Hope…fully enough.
