Lately, we’ve been trying to do right.

But I recall when they said,

Old habits die hard.

She’s chosen a path of light

But she’s breaking down,

Feeling lost

And wondering if she did choose right.

He’s smiling up wide.

Seconds later, he’s sad and all tight.

Soon he’s mad and angry

A raging storm;

A rising turbulence

Sometimes we feel it all at once.

The joy,

The sadness,

The pain,

The relief

All coming rushing down at us.

Sometimes we don’t know the reasons why.

We can’t explain the theories of how

Sometimes, we are expressing,

The expressions of the feelings… unknown.
